How to Measure This Garment

To find your size, lay your best-fitting dress shirt flat on a hard surface and follow these steps. For the most accurate results, use a flexible tailor’s tape.

A. Shoulder
Measure from the outer edge of the left shoulder seam straight across to the outer edge of the right shoulder seam. The tape should run horizontally across the top of the back.

B. Chest (Full Circumference)
Measure 1" below the armhole, then measure straight across the chest from seam to seam. Multiply this number by 2 to get the full chest circumference shown in the table.

C. Waist (Full Circumference)
Identify the narrowest part of the shirt's torso (usually at the level of the 4th or 5th button). Measure straight across from side seam to side seam and multiply by 2.

D. Length (front)
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where the collar meets the shoulder seam) straight down to the very bottom of the front hem.

E. Length (back)

Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where the collar meets the shoulder seam) straight down to the very bottom of the front hem.

F. Sleeve

Measure from the top shoulder seam (where the arm meets the body) down the outer edge of the sleeve to the very end of the cuff.
